Analysis- Softwargon SolutionsIn order to make my informationbase I am going to use Microsoft Access. Otherpossible systems I could have used atomic number 18 programmes such as Microsoftsurmount and also a simple manual(a) system where all the data ishand-written. I chose Microsoft Access, as this is more efficient andmore professional as a whole.If I used a manual system I could have improved my problems by havingall of the documents filed in alphabetical order, having more filecabinets or by writing out documents more neatly and more tidily.Filing all documents in alphabetical order would have tidied up thedocuments and made them easier to find, but as documents would stillbe in a filing cabinet even though in alphabetical order it wouldstill be time consuming to find them rather than a computerized systemwhich would be a lot prompt to find and therefore less time consuming.Also if you use more filing cabinets in which to store documents thismay still not be precise practical if the person the changes are designedfor works in a small office with limited position. As well as this, bypickings more care in writing and filling in documents and writing moreneatly this would improve the system but it would also be conflicting at times. This is because you are unable to take careand write neatly all of the time, as there are many occasions in whichyou are rushed which causes the neatness of your writing to falter.The final reason why I have opted to use Microsoft Access rather thana manual system where filing cabinets are involved is because inAccess you can store about 20,000 files but if you had to store 20,000files using a manual system huge amounts of space would be taken upand it would be very awkward to find the specific document youdesire. If I used Microsoft Excel in which to store data this would improve onthe current system as it is computerized but it is still not asefficient as other computerized programmes. Microsoft Excel wouldallow me to urina te tables, perform calculations, print out singledocuments and also print out multiple documents. Being able to printout improves on a manual system as it is a lot quicker and you do nothave to keep typing documents out time and time again.Although using Microsoft Excel is a large improvement on using amanual system Microsoft Access is the one I have opted to use. This isbecause on Microsoft Access you are able to perform all actions
